Scope of the agreement

These terms apply to every bespoke kitchen, manufacture or fitting order carried out by La Cozy. Anything not stated expressly in the approved quote falls outside the scope of work, even if it appeared in earlier correspondence.

The quote and its approval

A quote is valid for fifteen days from its date of issue. It becomes a binding contract on written approval or on payment of the deposit, and the design attached to it forms an integral part of it.

Dimensions and responsibility for them

The binding dimensions are those we take during the measuring visit and both parties approve in writing. Any dimension supplied by the client by phone or through this site is treated as a preliminary estimate for pricing, not a basis for manufacture.

Payments

Fifty per cent on approval of the design and fifty per cent on delivery and fitting, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Production does not begin before the deposit is received.

Revisions

The price includes two rounds of revisions before production begins. Any change after the design is approved is priced separately, because the pieces have by then been cut to their final dimensions and cannot be reversed.

Delivery and delay

The delivery date is a written clause in the quote. It is extended by the equivalent of any delay in the client's approval, in supplying us with what we need, or by circumstances outside anyone's control.
